Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Lexington, NC is seeking a Passenger Coach Production Technician to contribute to final assembly of passenger rail vehicles. You will assemble coach sections and equipment, install interior systems, and connect electrical harnesses according to blueprints and diagrams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic English, and the ability to read complex drawings. A hands-on producer mindset and fine-motor skills are essential for precision work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Clear, basic English communication.
• Comfort reading blueprints and diagrams; familiarity with part lists is helpful.
• Physical ability to perform required lifting and overhead work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble coach sections and equipment across mechanical and electrical domains.
• Install interior systems such as insulation, seating, and luggage racks.
• Route and connect electrical harnesses to subassemblies and termination points.
• Read production blueprints and wiring diagrams to produce subassemblies.
• Disassemble/modify/rework/refurbish as needed with precision.
