Job summary

Hitachi Rail in Honolulu, Hawaii, seeks a Building Services Technician for Pearl City. You will perform maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, respond to faults, and oversee service contracts while adhering to safety rules.

The role requires a CDL within 12 months, willingness to shift work including weekends/holidays, and the ability to operate track and OTE equipment as needed. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical and structural equipment.
• Proficient with common and specialized tools/test equipment.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out safety rules.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals.
• CDL required within 12 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive and unscheduled building maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Respond to malfunctions across the rail system including substations and stations.
• Maintain records and reports; oversee maintenance contracts and service work.
• Support spare parts management and repair cycles on site.
• Participate in safety training and comply with rules.
