Job summary

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) currently seeks a frontline engineering leader in Jackson, Mississippi, to oversee bridge and culvert construction projects across the corridor. You will guide both CPKC and contractor teams, ensuring safe, timely, and budget-conscious delivery of critical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates bring at least 4 years of railroad bridge construction experience, strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 4 years railroad bridge construction experience.
• Ability to travel internationally with passport is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with procurement and safety teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with Procurement to develop and issue construction RFPs and select contractors.
• Direct scheduling, execution and material ordering for bridge/culvert projects.
• Plan and coordinate track block plans with Operations.
• Track and manage bridge/culvert projects within budgets.
• Conduct safety testing of bridge/culvert contractors per CPKC standards.
• Conduct audits to verify work completion and compliance with standards.
