Job summary

rockITdata is seeking a Risk & Issue Manager to support a mission-critical federal healthcare modernization initiative. You will drive program success by proactively identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks while managing issues, dependencies, and assumptions throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting project management, risk management, or enterprise technology programs.
• Experience managing project risks, issues, and dependencies within complex IT environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience developing executive reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.
• Experience supporting Federal healthcare organizations (VA/VHA) or Federal program management is preferred.
• PMI-RMP, PMP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the program's Risk, Issue, Assumption, and Dependency (RAID) log throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and monitor program risks with mitigation plans.
• Track program issues and coordinate resolution with PMs, tech leads, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate RAID review meetings and provide status updates to leadership.
• Prepare executive dashboards and governance reports for customer reviews.
• Support PMO activities to ensure successful project delivery.
