Job summary

BeaconFire is seeking a Python web developer to design and build scalable web applications in the New York/New Jersey area. You will work with Flask/Django, create RAG pipelines on Vertex AI, and craft agentic workflows with Python-first frameworks.

You will participate in planning, reviews, testing, and documentation, ensuring secure-by-design practices while staying current with evolving technologies. Visa sponsorship is provided.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python3 software development and testing.
• Understanding of SDLC and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with relational databases and version control (Git).
• Familiar with RAG solutions and agentic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design and develop high quality Web applications using Python, Flask, Django, and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable code with good testability.
• Design and implement RAG pipelines on Vertex AI (embedding, indexing, retrieval, grounding).
• Build agentic workflows using Python-first frameworks.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
• Conduct testing to ensure reliability of applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for web apps.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and prioritization.
• Stay updated with latest Python development technologies.
• Define and run evaluation metrics and improve system quality ongoing.
• Ship APIs, monitoring, cost/performance optimization, CI/CD, and security best practices.
