Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC is looking for an Operator – RAFT in Andrews, Texas. This role involves providing oversight on fishing tool services at well sites and requires critical thinking and the ability to operate RAFT tools to resolve downhole issues.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of oilfield experience, effective communication skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Benefits include flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in oilfield with working knowledge of rigs and downhole.
• Valid Driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Use critical thinking to diagnose problems and develop solutions.
• Drive vehicle with tools to job and from site.
• Advises customers on technical procedures for fishing operations.

Skills

Knowledge of duplex, triplex pumps, and various hydraulic power swivels

Extensive knowledge of fishing tools

Ability to communicate effectively

Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks

Ability to work independently under pressure

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education
