Job summary

Professional Radon Systems is seeking a Radon Technician to join our Chicagoland team. This hands-on role requires physical stamina, a team mindset, and adherence to safety.

You will consult with customers for evaluation and system design, and install radon mitigation materials including PVC pipes, electrical components and fans. Responsibilities include concrete drilling, sump pump installation, loading/unloading trucks, and documenting job specs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year construction experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Experience with PVC material, electrical, HVAC, light carpentry, general construction, assembly, and roofing.
• Experience working with hand tools and small electric tools.
• Ability to perform repetitive bending, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and proven problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to pass a background check.

· Consultation with customer for evaluation and system design

· Installation of radon mitigation materials including PVC pipes, electrical components and system fans

Skills/Abilities:

Compensation:

The pay rate for this job is $16 - $25 /hour. Hourly rate based on experience. Paid holidays, vacation, retirement plan, bonuses and overtime.
