Job summary

SWAT Environmental is seeking candidates to install radon mitigation systems in homes and businesses near Greenwood, IN. You7ll assess sites with customers and determine the best system placement as part of a team committed to safer indoor air quality.

Role includes paid on-the-job training and certification, use of a company van for daily transport, and a salary in the $45k–$60k first year range. Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are valued in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years0 experience in construction, maintenance, or other skilled trades, or apprenticeship is preferred.
• Lift and carry a 60-pound ladder.
• Work on ladders at 40 feet or higher.
• Work in confined spaces (bend, stoop, reach).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Operate drill, hole-saw, coring drills, and other hand tools safely.
• Acquire and maintain required certifications.
• Use technology (mobile phones, tablets, laptops).
• Valid drivers license and clean driving history.
• Company vehicle and tools (take home daily).

Responsibilities

• Inspect homes and work with customers to determine the placement of radon mitigation systems.
• Install radon mitigation systems by drilling holes, cutting and running PVC pipes, installing fans, and sealing holes.
