Our managed hotel portfolio includes Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. We are currently seeking a Sales Manager for the Radisson Hotel Phoenix Airport.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Achieve market share and revenue goals by collaborating with the Director of Sales and Catering/Convention Services team.
  2. Prepare proposals and contracts to maximize profit while satisfying client needs.
  3. Respond to RFPs and communicate client requests effectively across departments.
  4. Solicit new business through outside calls, hotel tours, and client hosting.
  5. Promote hotel features and benefits to meet client needs and foster repeat business.
  6. Review individual goals weekly and take actions to meet objectives.
  7. Ensure maximum occupancy through follow-up on group bookings and events.
  8. Represent the hotel at tradeshows and community events.
  9. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
  10. Maintain clear communication within the sales team and prepare necessary reports and forecasts.
Additional Responsibilities

Create guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality, perform other duties as required, and ensure adherence to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities Breakdown
  1. Sales Initiatives (70%): Manage RFPs, generate leads, negotiate, and accommodate catering requests.
  2. Market Research (20%): Conduct industry analysis and follow up with leads.
  3. Networking (10%): Attend events and promote hotel brand and services.
Requirements/Skills
  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of hotel catering or convention experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and mathematical skills.
  • Knowledge of contract law and local market preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Delphi, and/or Opera; CMP certification is a plus.
  • Effective collaboration skills with team members and management.
Physical Demands
  • Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Lift/move up to 75 lbs.
  • Use of manual dexterity for office equipment.
