Responsibilities

  • Operate radioscopic/X-ray imaging devices to inspect welds and components.
  • Interpret radioscopic images to detect cracks, voids, or inclusions.
  • Record inspection results and prepare technical reports for engineers.
  • Ensure inspections comply with DOE regulations and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of radioscopic equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to protect self and others.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technicians.
