Kettering Health seeks a Radiopharmacist for the PET/Nuclear Medicine department to oversee compounding, QA, and manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals used in PET and conventional nuclear medicine.

The role requires a PharmD with nuclear pharmacist credentials, Ohio licensure, and at least 1 year in nuclear pharmacy; a PhD is preferred. You will support FDA protocol development and ensure USP/FDA compliance.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in nuclear pharmacy is required.
  • PharmD with Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist is required.
  • Ohio license to practice pharmacy is required.
  • Nuclear pharmacist license (Pharmacist, Nuclear) is required.
  • PhD in nuclear pharmacy is preferred.

  • Oversee compounding, quality assurance testing, and manufacturing/distribution of radiopharmaceuticals for PET and conventional nuclear medicine.
  • Assist in developing protocols for FDA approvals, including ANDA and INDA where applicable.

Responsibilities

The Nuclear Pharmacist for the Nuclear Medicine/ PET department is responsible for oversight of all compounding, quality assurance testing and the manufacturing and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals used in both PET and conventional nuclear medicine. This individual will also assist in development of protocols for Food & Drug Administration approval, to include ANDA, INDA’s.

Minimum Education
  • Master’s degree in nuclear pharmacy
Required Licenses
  • [United States Minor Outlying Islands] Pharmacist, Nuclear
  • Ohio license to practice pharmacy (Registered Pharmacist)
  • PharmD with with Authorized Nuclear Pharmacist
Minimum Work Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a nuclear pharmacist with experience in PET radiopharmaceutical production preferred.
Qualifications
  • A Ph.D. in nuclear pharmacy or related field is preferred
  • Experience in hospital or commercial radiopharmacy with a strong background in USP and FDA regulatory compliance
