Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes in Beloit, Wisconsin, is seeking a QC support specialist to assist cGMP laboratory and manufacturing operations with sampling, testing, and material inspections. This role emphasizes compliance with regulatory standards and hands-on work in a fast-growing radiopharmaceutical environment.

You will operate analytical instruments, monitor calibration, and provide on-the-floor QC presence for production.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 4+ years in a regulated setting or a Bachelor's in chemistry/biology or related field.
• Experience with analytical instrumentation and laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with metrological equipment and radiation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and calibration to ensure proper operation.
• Operate analytical instrumentation on a daily basis.
• Provide on-the-floor QC presence for manufacturing operations.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and components.
• Review Receiving Inspection documents and releases in ERP.
• Perform environmental monitoring tasks and plate reads.
• Isolate microorganisms.
• Support documents for manufacturing and quality testing (test data, protocols, reports, SOPs).
• Safely handle radioactive material, including dose monitoring and contamination surveys.
