Job summary

RayzeBio, based in Indianapolis, seeks a Senior Manager (Principal Scientist) for Radiopharmaceutical Development/CMC to lead preclinical through clinical development, IND‑enabling studies, and scale‑up. You will collaborate with discovery, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing teams to accelerate radiopharmaceutical programs toward patients in need.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in drug development, manufacturing, CMC or related fields in pharma, preferably radiopharmaceuticals.
• Experience with IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions (IND/NDA).
• Knowledge of GMP regulations and NRC requirements.
• Experience in radiopharmaceutical formulation and process development.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and technical leadership across drug product development, scale-up, and GMP manufacturing.
• Lead experiments for radiopharmaceutical drug product development and automation.
• Drive tech transfer from preclinical to clinical manufacturing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Clinical, and R&D.
• Mentor junior scientists and support commercialization activities.
• Travel up to 20%.
