Job summary

RayzeBio in Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Associate II, Analytical Development to lead method development, validation, and transfer for radiopharmaceutical products. You will work under the Manager of Analytical Development at the Indianapolis site, ensuring GMP compliance and quality in a radiological environment. The role requires a B.Sc.

or M.Sc. in a relevant field and 3+ years in pharma, with expertise in UHPLC/HPLC, LC-MS, gamma/alpha spectrometry, and related analytical techniques.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or relevant scientific field.
• Three (3) or more years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of UHPLC, HPLC, GC, TLC, ICP, LC-MS, Gamma/Alpha spectrometry and related methods.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations, quality systems, and safety guidelines.
• Experience with method development, validation, verification, and transfer in pharma/radiopharma.
• Experience with parenteral GMP manufacturing and/or radiopharmaceuticals is preferred but not required.
• Experience with radiopharmaceutical handling is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methods for parenteral radiopharmaceutical products across multiple techniques.
• Participate in method transfers to QC and internal facilities.
• Prepare protocols, reports, and SOPs per USP/EP/ICH guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely results.
• Investigate analytical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and calibrations; instrument qualification and maintenance.
• Ensure GMP compliance and safety considerations, including radiation safety.
• Provide technical support to other teams as needed.
