Base pay range

$25.00/hr - $38.00/hr

Description

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Castle Rock Medical Ctr, US:CO:Castle Rock

Department: UCHlthMG M Urgent Care OccMed

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience and includes an additional float pool differential.

This role requires the ability to work at the following locations: Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Sterling Ranch, Quincy, Steele.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Technologists (ARRT) (R).
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with a valid card before start date. BLS or CPR card must be valid for at least sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging and radiologic procedures, providing direct patient care.
• Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Precept new staff and students, demonstrating proficiency.
• Adapt to a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment and contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
• Review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, and ensure patient understanding and cooperation.
• Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications, monitoring patient condition.
• Respond to and report changes in patient condition appropriately.
• Implement techniques to optimize image quality, control quality, and ensure equipment functionality based on best practices.
