AdventHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team at the Winter Park campus in Florida. You will prepare patients for radiologic procedures, operate x-ray equipment, and follow safety and infection-control procedures to ensure high-quality care.

This role requires an associates degree in radiologic technology, BLS and BMO certifications, and flexibility to float within FHMG practices as needed. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology from an accredited program.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS and BMO certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects them from radiation hazards.
• Operates radiographic equipment and ensures infection control.
• Selects ionizing factors and adjusts radiographic controls.
• Positions patients and captures x-rays as directed by the physician.
• Maintains records, logs and ensures timely reporting.
• Performs quality checks and ensures compliance with state regulations.
• Reports equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
