Concentra, Inc in Temple, TX is seeking a full-time X-ray Technician and Medical Support Specialist to deliver routine radiology exams and assist in clinical procedures. The role includes front/back office support, patient care, and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• State approved Limited Scope Technician certificate and license, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Minimum six months medical assistant experience with medical terminology knowledge.
• Minimum six months X-ray experience and familiarity with routine procedures.
• Occupational medicine knowledge preferred; healthcare/customer service background helpful.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and assist with positioning.
• Operate radiologic equipment and ensure safety and accuracy of images.
• Maintain radiology workflows and accurate EMR documentation.
• Perform DOT and non-DOT drug/alcohol testing as needed.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Greet patients, handle front/back office duties, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain equipment calibration, QA/QC, and supply levels.
