Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Byron, GA is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. You will document patient history, verify patient identity, and prepare/ administer contrast media in collaboration with radiologists and physicians.

Qualifications include ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology education and registry eligibility within one year, plus BLS. Strong communication and ability to work with diverse patient populations are essential,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by procedure and demonstrates correct positioning.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
