ARMStaffing is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to independently perform imaging procedures across clinical settings, ensuring protocol adherence and high-quality image data. The role emphasizes patient care, accurate documentation, and compliant coding.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, BLS, and a state license (PA/NY/MD as applicable) with approximately two years of relevant experience. This on-site position offers comprehensive health benefits and strong clinical support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• ARRT Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• State Licensure as required (PA, NY, or MD based on geographic practice).

Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols.
• Adjust protocols and apply prescribed ionizing radiation appropriately.
• Utilize complex imaging equipment for acquisition, analysis, manipulation, and documentation of image data.
• Administer oral and rectal contrast materials as per physician orders and departmental policy.
• Engage compassionately with patients and co-workers, demonstrating dignity, respect, and high-level communication skills.
• Ensure proper patient identification using two identifiers and adherence to universal protocol.
• Review patient history and physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal results.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic record.
• Ensure exams are coded, tracked, and charged adequately for services performed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and in accordance with system-wide competencies.

Day Shift - 8 x 5, 5-8 hour shifts Monday through Friday with every other weekend required. No call.

Job Description

The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist independently performs imaging procedures, employing technical proficiency and sound judgment to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes in a variety of clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostic radiography procedures utilizing established protocols.
• Adjust protocols and apply prescribed ionizing radiation appropriately.
