Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time role with a 7:30 AM–4:00 PM schedule, Monday to Friday. Workload includes radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with emphasis on safety and image quality, in a setting that guarantees 40 hours weekly with no holidays or weekends.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT radiologic technology certification, active BLS, and has at least 1 year of X-ray experience, plus the ability to position patients accurately and protect staff from

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of X-ray experience.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Profile with work history and a skills checklist current to one year.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist accurately applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, performing a variety of technical procedures that result in the highest quality diagnostic radiographs while minimizing radiation exposure to patients.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing precise application of ionizing radiation for diagnosis.
• Positions patients and equipment correctly to accurately demonstrate the area being examined, requiring extensive anatomic positioning skills.
• Ensures appropriate radiation protection for patients and staff during exposures in accordance with safety standards.
• Adjusts technical factors to provide suitable exposure by applying independent judgment and knowledge of human anatomy, disease effects on radiographs, and radiation principles.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of X-ray experience required.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required.
• Two supervisory reference forms, completed within the last two years.
• Profile requirements: Work history and a skills checklist, current to one year, pertinent to the specialty.
