Veritas Veterinary Partners is hiring a Radiology Veterinary Assistant to work directly under a board-certified radiologist, supporting advanced imaging and performing essential clerical tasks to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.

You will restrain patients for imaging, assist with sedation, and help maintain accurate medical records while coordinating with doctors and technicians across departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong patient handling with fear-free, compassionate care.
• Experience with sedated and anesthetized patients is a plus.
• Understanding of basic veterinary anatomy, physiology, and monitoring.
• Attention to detail and accurate medical records.

Responsibilities

• Assist the board-certified radiologist during advanced imaging procedures (ultrasound, CT).
• Safely restrain patients during imaging to ensure comfort and minimize stress.
• Monitor and assist with patients under sedation or anesthesia for imaging.
• Prepare patients and imaging areas prior to procedures.
• Maintain detailed medical records and diagnostic documentation.
• Assist with data entry and report management for radiology services.
• Facilitate communication between doctors, technicians, and client teams.
• Keep radiology workspaces clean, organized, and stocked.
• Provide compassionate care throughout diagnostic workup.
• Support other departments during slower periods when needed.
