Job summary

Lourdes Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to support the Radiology Unit on a PRN basis. The role emphasizes patient transport, room organization, and collaboration with the Radiology team using RIS and EPIC EHR systems.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED with BLS certification (preferred to obtain before direct patient care) and about 1 year of patient care experience. Mercy Health offers comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification required or preferred prior to direct patient care.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.
• Experience with Radiology Information System (RIS) preferred.
• EPIC EHR and PACS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes rooms, stocks linen and maintains supplies.
• Transports patients using stretchers, beds, and wheelchairs with proper identifiers.
• Reviews daily department schedules and coordinates with Radiology team.
• Supports Radiology team with information systems and basic computer tasks.
• Assists with other department operations as needed.
