Job summary

Good Samaritan University Hospital, part of Catholic Health, is seeking an Imaging Support Associate to provide administrative and patient support for the Radiology Department. You will coordinate scheduling, maintain patient records, and ensure a high level of customer service for patients, physicians, and staff.

The role emphasizes front desk operations, patient registration, EPIC EMR use, and collaboration with the imaging team to support efficient exam workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn electronic medical record systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with courteous, professional service.
• Escort patients to imaging areas and assist with exam prep.
• Answer calls promptly and direct to appropriate staff.
• Coordinate scheduling with physicians and departments.
• Schedule imaging appointments across Radiology modalities.
• Perform general clerical duties and data entry.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR.
• Retrieve and distribute imaging reports to physicians and patients.
