Job summary

Aims Community College is seeking a Radiology Faculty member to teach radiology technology courses and participate in clinical teaching across lecture and lab settings. The role requires delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student work, and maintaining current course standards in pedagogy and content.

Occasional travel may be required. The ideal candidate will have an AS degree in radiology, ARRT RT(R) certification, and relevant teaching or clinical experience, with CPR/First Aid/AED

Qualifications

• Minimum of an AS degree in radiology with ARRT RT(R) certification and 6,000 hours of industry experience within the last seven years.
• Registered Technologist in Radiography RT(R) by ARRT; registry in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective, high-quality instruction in radiology technology courses and clinical settings.
• Evaluate student work, provide feedback, and report grades timely.
• Revise radiology courses to stay current with pedagogy and standards.
• Design educational methodologies to enhance student learning.
• Communicate learning outcomes and assess student learning outcomes.
