Bon Secours is seeking an X-Ray Technician in Virginia to perform digital radiographic studies under provider orders and ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
You will document encounters in the EMR, prepare equipment, and travel to other facilities as needed to support Mercy Health providers. ARRT certification and Virginia licensure are preferred, BLS required before direct patient care.
The X-Ray Technician performs digital X-ray studies on patients per the orders placed by providers. The X-Ray Technician is a multi-skilled clinical professional who works within the scope of practice to assist in patient care under the direction of the provider.

Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required)
State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed) If the job is performed in Virginia, State Licensure is required.
BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care) (required)
Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute (preferred)
1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
Experience with Radiology Information System (preferred)
EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) (preferred)
Picture archiving communication system (PACS) (preferred)
