Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. in Logan, Utah, is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to join the Logan Clinic and North Cache Instacare.

You will perform diagnostic imaging exams, collaborate with radiologists and clinicians, and help deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting. The role covers Logan Instacare locations with three 12-hour shifts, Sunday through Saturday, 7:45 AM to 7:00 PM.

Qualifications

• ARRT license or registered eligibility in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Competency in Chest, Extremities, Spine, Skull, Podiatry, or DEXA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and prepare the patient for the exam.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality; assist and instruct students and other Radiology Techs.
• Provide patient education, ensure patient comfort, and address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures.
