Job summary

Intermountain Health in West Valley City, Utah, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams in a fast-paced clinic environment. You will work closely with radiologists and clinicians to ensure high-quality images and patient care.

The role requires ARRT certification (and state license if applicable), BLS, and the ability to work a rotating schedule. A sign-on bonus of up to $6,000 is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state license as applicable.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Ability to complete department protocols for exams.
• Strong patient care and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions.
• Ensure patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol and review images for quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies timely; assist/train students and other radiology staff.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment issue reporting.
