Job summary

Sentara Urgent Care Center in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Full-Time Radiology Technologist. Responsibilities include performing general diagnostic imaging, patient positioning, and operating radiology equipment under physician supervision.

Virginia license or ARRT eligibility with timely registration is required. Phlebotomy competency may be required at certain sites, with market-competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Radiologic Technologist for Virginia or ARRT-eligible with registration within 90 days of hire.
• Phlebotomy competency may be required for sites performing Radiology and Lab.
• Experience in general diagnostic radiology imaging and patient positioning under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiology imaging studies per physician direction.
• Position patients to demonstrate anatomy/pathology accurately.
• Operate radiology equipment and electronic radiology systems.
• Prepare patient room, equipment, and medications as needed.
