Job summary

Sentara New Town Diagnostic Center is hiring a Full-Time Radiology Technologist in Williamsburg, VA. Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift.

You will perform general diagnostic radiology studies under a physician's direction, position patients, operate imaging equipment, and manage radiology systems with attention to patient safety and care. Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required at sites performing Radiology and Lab.

Qualifications

• Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must be registered within 90 days of hire.
• Licensed Rad Tech required for staff employed in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general diagnostic radiologic imaging studies of patients under direction of a physician.
• Position patients for accurate anatomy/pathology demonstration.
• Operate radiation producing equipment and radiology systems.
• Prepare patient room/equipment/medications for procedures.
• Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required at sites offering Radiology and Lab.
