Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join its imaging team in Georgia. You will operate radiographic equipment, position patients, and ensure safety and quality across exams.

This role emphasizes patient comfort, accurate documentation, and adherence to ALARA principles. The ideal candidate will have ARRT-R credentials and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and BLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining diagnostic quality with ALARA.
• Prepare and position patients; verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care to patients; address questions and reduce anxiety.
