Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We also have three behavioral health units, cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. The Haverhill campus features all private rooms, while the Methuen campus includes a state-of-the-art catheterization suite and a Joint Center of Excellence, recognized as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to produce diagnostic-quality radiographs using appropriate positioning, techniques, and collimation.

Essential Functions:

1. Label all radiographs with right and left markers, patient’s name, date of service, hospital name, and portable documentation when applicable.
2. Wear a radiation film badge during duty hours, store it properly, and change it monthly.
3. Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures and prepare barium contrast as per protocol.
4. Ensure radiology suites are properly set up and functioning before procedures.
5. Report equipment malfunctions promptly to the Team Leader or designee.
6. Follow protocol for seeking assistance from clinical engineering for repairs.
7. Maintain accurate day sheets with all required information.
8. Keep suites and work areas clean and organized, including prepping and stocking, and cleaning between patients following infection control routines.
9. Provide Wet Readings to nurses and physicians as directed, maintaining proper documentation.
10. Participate in new procedures and techniques proactively.
11. Operate Meditech ITS radiology module according to privacy standards, including charging, editing, and entering patient data.
12. Enter patient tracking details and seek help when needed.
13. Complete 12 CEUs annually as per guidelines, submitting documentation within 5 business days.
14. Verify patient identity before procedures according to safety standards, using patient bracelets or identification cards, and obtaining verbal confirmation.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
2. Valid ARRT registration and Massachusetts license.
3. BLS certification required.
