Job summary

Advocate Health in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at Medical Plaza Northwest Greensboro. You will document patient histories and verify identity, ensuring safety and accuracy for every exam.

Graduate from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program; registry eligible with completion within one year of hire. BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.

• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. BLS required
