Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the direction of a Radiologist. You will coordinate daily activities, procedures, and clerical duties to support efficient patient care.

The role requires ARRT-recognized training, registry eligibility within 1 year of hire, and BLS certification. You will work closely with radiologists and hospital staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
• Ability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
