The Radiology Tech assists physicians and performs radiological, paramedical, and clerical duties required in the care and assistance of patients. Works under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor and physicians. Is primarily responsible for helping with the daily operations of the Radiology department.
Requirements:
Education requirements: Successful completion of a radiological program or equivalent military training.
Work experience requirements: BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
Required licenses/ certifications/courses: Current ARRT and South Carolina license or Temporary B license issued by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
Required skills, knowledge and abilities: Current RT registration or registration eligible with successful completion within 90 days.
