Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and perform a range of procedures across modalities. The role supports physicians with high-quality imaging and patient care while adhering to HIPAA, infection control, and department policies.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT radiography certification, state licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience. The position is PRN/Per Diem with on-site assignments across affiliated clinics.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required.
• 1 year of radiologic technologist experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic radiology equipment to acquire quality images.
• Rotate within departments and clinics as needed.
• Program computer after procedures to ensure exam data is stored in PACS.
• Ensure rooms are clean, stocked and compliant with infection control standards.
• Document and code charges accurately in the billing system.
