Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Radiology Technologist (PRN) to perform radiological diagnostic procedures and operate imaging equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will ensure patient comfort, maintain safety, and assist with quality control, supplies, and keeping licensure up to date while collaborating with the radiology team.

Eligible candidates must have ARRT-R Radiography and RT credentials, an Associate Degree, and BCLS within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
• Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology diagnostic procedures.
• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment and develops film.
• Prepares room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Orders supplies, stocks, and conducts quality control on equipment.
• Maintains patient comfort and adheres to safety procedures.
• Contributes to department teamwork and philosophy.
