Job summary

Reston Hospital Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures using fixed and portable units across imaging areas and operating suites. You will assist physicians in fluoroscopy, follow radiation safety protocols, and pursue ongoing professional development to enhance patient care.

The role requires ARRT certification or eligibility, BCLS, and graduation from an approved radiologic technology program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiologic technology program approved by the AMA Council on Medical Education or equivalent.
• Current ARRT certification as RT(R) or eligible for registry.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment in imaging department, nursing units and operating suites.
• Assist physicians in fluoroscopy with fixed and portable units.
• Adhere to radiation safety and universal precautions at all times.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to improve patient care.
• Complete assignments within established timeframes and adapt to changes in volume.
