Mary Washington Healthcare in Virginia seeks a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures per physician orders, producing high-quality images for timely radiologist interpretation.
The role requires ARRT certification or eligibility, completion of a two-year Radiologic Technology program, and VA licensure for outpatient facilities, plus CPR certification. Weekend shifts are included.
This position is accountable for preparing patients and performing routine radiographic procedures in accordance with physicians' orders and the procedure manual. The Diagnostic Technologist produces high quality images and presents them with appropriate comparison studies and other exam results or pertinent patient information to the Radiologist for timely interpretation. Constant (67–100% of workday) use of arms and hands; frequent (34–66% of workday) standing, walking, sitting; occasional (0–33% of workday) bending and squatting; ability to lift 35 lbs.; ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.; auditory and visual skills to include color determination.

Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals. Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times.
