BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist for New Plaza West Tower to perform general diagnostic imaging and portable exams. The role includes evenings and overnight shifts, with on-call scenarios and potential OR time, providing imaging in the ED and hospital departments.

Candidates must hold an Associate degree or higher, be an ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist, and meet state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Position Details

• PRN Evenings & Overnight Schedule (work as needed)
• Overnight Shift: Monday – Thursday (7pm – 6am)
• In-house patients & OR
• General Diagnostic
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently
• Occasional time in the Operating Room (OR)
• Portable exams and other tasks assigned by the department
• Work independently in the emergency room (ER)
• Siemens equipment in our ED and a combination of Samsung and Carestream portables

Experience

• Radiologic Technologist, x-ray technologist, x ray technologist, Upcoming Radiology Student graduate, Radiologic Technologist, x-ray technologist, x ray technologist

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• ARRT registered technologist.

The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders
