Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist PRN to perform radiographic procedures with ionizing radiation and ensure ALARA compliance. You will operate and regulate imaging equipment, develop films, and provide patient care during imaging sessions.

On-call shifts are required, and you will collaborate with physicians and staff across departments. Required ARRT-R Radiography, RT credential, an Associate Degree, and BCLS (or BCLS Instructor) within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
• Associate degree required.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the radiographic film, develops and organizes films. Operates equipment safely and maintains A.L.A.R.A. standards while performing all types of procedures. Provides patient care during Imaging procedures. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff. Position requires call.
