HCA Florida University Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist PRN to perform ionizing radiation procedures to detect pathology, regulate equipment, operate the CR unit, and send images to PACS for verification.

You will assist in the daily operation of the Radiology Department and maintain a professional rapport with fellow staff while delivering safe, high-quality patient care.

Formación

• ARRT-R Radiography certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related field.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) within 30 days of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Performs ionizing radiation procedures to detect pathology.
• Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray image and operates the CR unit.
• Sends images to PACS for verification and assists in daily Radiology operations.
• Maintains a professional rapport with fellow employees.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray image, knows how to operate the CR unit and sends the image to PACS for verification. Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• (ARRT-R) Radiography

• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

• Associate Degree
