Job summary

Belton Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Radiology Technologist PRN to join our inpatient imaging team in Belton, Missouri. You will perform standard and portable radiographic exams, ensure image quality, and prepare patients while following safety and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
