Job summary

BronxCare Health System is seeking a skilled X-ray Technologist to perform high-quality radiographs for inpatients, ED and outpatient imaging. You will apply ALARA principles, shield where appropriate, and maintain a clean, safe environment.

You will transport patients, assist radiologists during fluoroscopy, and participate in infection control and QA activities, ensuring accurate imaging orders and timely scheduling.

Qualifications

• One year of X-ray Technologist experience preferred.
• New York State License as an X-ray Technologist required.
• ARRT Registered required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiographs on inpatients, ED and outpatients.
• Utilize lead shielding and ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Transport patients to and from X-ray rooms as required.
• Assist the radiologist during fluoroscopy studies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following infection control standards.
• Coordinate imaging schedules and review orders with hospital systems.
