The role requires careful patient positioning, adherence to safety, and collaboration with the healthcare team. You will document procedures, maintain equipment, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of a radiology technology program and ARRT certification.
• Knowledge of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning.
• Ability to follow instructions, plan, and organize work efficiently.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods as directed by a licensed physician.
• Uses judgment to select and compute settings tailored to each patient.
• Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Maintains equipment, rooms, and work areas in a safe and organized manner.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and monitors quality data.
• Achieves assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed.
