Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligibility with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; CPR certification required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with minimal supervision under a radiologist.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by the physician.
• Confirms patient identity verbally and via proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologists and physicians as needed.
• Operates equipment and positions patients for optimal imaging.
• Maintains required records according to departmental standards.
