Job summary

Heywood Medical Group is seeking a Radiology Technician to identify patients for imaging and verify physician orders. You will review patient information, perform order entry in Meditech, and maintain radiographic files with attention to accuracy.

The role requires ARRT certification and MDPH Radiology License, plus CPR certification. You will work within a team to ensure safe, high-quality imaging services and patient care in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology with A.S. in Radiology Technology or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience performing Radiology procedures or equivalent experience as determined by the department manager.
• ARRT certification and MDPH Radiology License required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify the correct patient to receive radiology or laboratory service and verify orders.
• Gather and evaluate information from patient interview and information services.
• Perform order entry for radiographic tests via Meditech system.
• Organize and maintain radiographic files and related records.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Operate radiology and laboratory equipment safely and according to policy.
