Beloit Health System is seeking Per Diem Radiology Technologists to join the Diagnostic Imaging team in Wisconsin. The role supports varied shifts and on-call rotations, delivering diagnostic radiographic services with emphasis on patient safety and image quality.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification and Wisconsin licensure, plus CPR within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Current certification by the ARRT (Radiologic Technologist).
• Licensed in the State of Wisconsin.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Self-motivated and flexible.
• Ability to problem-solve and work independently.
• Knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented environment and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing questions.
• Position patients accurately to obtain quality diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Review images for quality and completeness before submission for interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR and PACS systems.
• Adhere to ALARA radiation safety principles; monitor patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nurses to coordinate patient care.
• Assist with quality assurance activities and departmental improvement initiatives.
• Maintain imaging rooms and equipment readiness; participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations.
