Job summary

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with active BLS or ALS certification, Texas MRT license, and ARRT-R registration, and demonstrate patient-handling competency and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Gives safe, accurate radiographic exams per department protocols.
• Maintains patient data and complies with radiation safety standards.
• Demonstrates competency in imaging techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
• Prepares patients for exams, positions them, and selects imaging techniques to ensure quality images.
• Monitors patient data, assists with QA on radiology equipment, and reports equipment or safety issues.
