Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiography exams to support physicians in diagnosis and treatment. The role may involve more complex modalities as needed.

The position requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program along with current MRT license, ARRT-R registration, and BLS/ALS certifications. You may work weekends or float to other locations while upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams on patients ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Prepares patients for exam, obtains vital signs and positions patients for the exam.
• Operates imaging equipment and ensures high-quality images.
• May assist with initial and renewal applications for ACR accreditation and other accreditations.
• May administer breath alcohol tests and/or urine drug screens.
• May perform patient registration tasks such as verifying insurance and collecting payments.
• Takes emergency call within the department and may float to other locations as needed.
• Adheres to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and budgetary constraints including time and supply management.
• Supports department goals and professional growth to contribute to organizational success.
• Models compassionate, personalized care for patients and colleagues.
