Job summary

IRMC in Blairsville, PA is seeking a part-time radiology tech for on-site work. You will perform EKGs, phlebotomy, urine drug screens, and radiographic exams as ordered by physicians, while ensuring safe patient care.

The role requires completion of an approved school of radiologic technology with ARRT registration and BLS certification (or within 1 month of hire). Two years of radiology experience is preferred in a demanding hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Successful completion of an approved school of radiologic technology.
• Experience: 2+ years in radiology preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: ARRT registration upon hire; BLS required or within 1 month.

Responsibilities

• Following established procedures, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, urine drug screens, and radiographic examinations as ordered by the physician.
• Assessing and providing appropriate treatment for all patients ranging from neonate through adult.
• Working with vital signs, patient discharges, breath alcohol testing, and other duties needed to provide safe and efficient care to all patients.
• Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel.
• Able to deal with stressful situations and heavy workloads.
